Library

The library is home for your folders and course plans. Here you organize course plans, activate the connection to a show, and create share links.

Folders and course plans

A course plan can sit at the library root or in any folder. Templates have no date. They cannot be exported to PDF/PNG, printed, or published to Equipe.

Competition folders

A competition is a folder marked as a show. It can sit at the root or under another folder. Competitions cannot be nested inside each other. The mark is for Equipe, build plans, and time allowed — not for saving a course plan.

New folder and New course plan are in the toolbar. The folder or course plan is created in the folder you have open. At the library root it lands there. A new course plan can also be saved as a template.

Mark a folder as a competition

1. Open the folder where the competition should sit, or stay at the library root.
2. Choose New folder.
3. Check Mark as show and choose Save.

For a folder that already exists, click the gear next to the name, check Mark as show, and choose Save.

The folder gets a Show badge next to the name.

Equipe connection

In the same dialog, under Search Equipe shows, search and choose a show. A linked show appears under the path as Connected to Equipe: ….

When the folder is linked, publish individual course plans from the editor under Properties → Publishing. The class list is filtered to the course plan date. Step by step: Publish to Equipe Online.

After a course plan in the competition has been published to Equipe, the link to that show is locked and can no longer be changed.

Build plans

For a competition folder that is synced to the cloud you can enable a public build-plans page:

1. Open the folder Settings with the gear.
2. Check Enable public page with build plans (requires online + a synced folder).
3. Copy the ?build= link for the course crew.

In the editor you can publish or unpublish individual course plans so they appear on (or are hidden from) that public page.

Time-allowed input

From a folder (online) you can open Time-allowed mode and create a no-login link:

1. Create or renew the link (valid for 7 days).
2. Copy the ?timing= link to the person entering measurements.
3. The recipient enters measured length (and speed); time allowed is calculated.
4. The result can be saved to the cloud and downloaded as PDF.

You can renew or revoke the link from the same dialog. Entry happens on the timing page — the library manages the link.

Cloud sync vs offline

The header shows whether you are Online or Offline.

• Online: course plans and folders sync to the CourseDraw cloud. Changes push and pull in the background.
• Offline: you can keep working in the local library. Changes are marked Pending sync (or Sync conflict if something clashes). Sync runs again when you are online.

Features that require network and a synced folder:

• searching Equipe shows and uploading to Equipe
• enabling the build-plans page
• creating time-allowed links

On desktop the library may in some cases be mirrored locally under Documents when the cloud is unreachable — a banner can show that the source is local files or cache.
