Export
Export course sketches to PNG and PDF, and configure Public/Build presets.
When the sketch is ready you can export it for print, Equipe, or sharing.
PNG
Export an image of the sketch. Useful for a quick preview, chat, or social media.
Export a print-friendly PDF. Used among other things when publishing to Equipe Online and when saving time allowed as PDF.
Public and Build presets
Under Display you will find Presets. There you configure two saved view modes — both can always be configured:
- Public — used when the sketch is published online (e.g. Equipe and public rider sketches).
- Build — used when the sketch is shown or exported as a construction sketch (Build view).
For each preset you choose which display options apply (e.g. grid, guides, obstacle info, and jump direction) and which layers are visible.
How to configure
- Open Display in the toolbar.
- Click Presets.
- Select the Public or Build tab.
- Check or uncheck the display options and layers for that preset.
- To start from what the canvas looks like right now: click Copy from current view.
- Close the dialog — the settings are saved in the sketch.
When is Build used?
The Build preset is applied automatically on the public build-sketch page. To publish individual sketches there, a parent folder must have the public page with build sketches enabled (under Competition / Equipe in the library — see Library). The preset itself can always be configured and used when exporting.
When exporting
When you export PNG or PDF you can choose:
- Current view — exactly what is on the canvas right now
- Public — according to the Public preset
- Build — according to the Build preset
That way you do not need to change the display manually before every export or publish.
Tips
- Adjust Presets under Display before you export or publish, so the right layers and markings are included.
- For Equipe publishing the sketch must be synced to the cloud and linked to a class — see Publish to Equipe Online.
